Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all quotations, orders, and services provided by West Met Tools (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By placing an order or submitting a request, the customer agrees to these Terms.

1. Quotations and Orders

All quotations are based on the information provided by the customer, including drawings, specifications, and quantities.

Quotations are subject to change if:

  • Technical specifications are modified
  • Quantities are adjusted
  • Material requirements change

Orders are only considered accepted upon written confirmation.

2. Pricing and Payment

All prices are stated in CAD and are exclusive of applicable taxes, duties, and shipping unless otherwise agreed.

Payment terms are Net 30 days unless otherwise specified in writing.

3. Lead Times and Delivery

All lead times are estimates and depend on:

  • Material availability
  • Production capacity
  • Technical complexity

We are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control.

4. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

  • Accuracy of drawings and specifications
  • Completeness of technical information
  • Suitability of the design for its intended application

We manufacture strictly according to the information provided and do not assume design responsibility unless explicitly agreed.

5. Materials

Material selection and availability may impact lead times.

Equivalent materials may be used where appropriate unless otherwise specified by the customer.

6. Quality and Inspection

Parts are manufactured in accordance with the provided drawings and specifications.

Inspection reports and documentation are available upon request and may be subject to additional charges.

7. Confidentiality and Data Protection

All drawings, technical data, and project-related information provided by the customer are treated as confidential.

Such information will only be used for the purpose of quotation, manufacturing, and project evaluation.

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to customer-provided designs, drawings, and specifications remain with the customer.

9. Claims and Returns

Any claims regarding defects or non-conformance must be submitted in writing within 14 days of delivery.

Claims must include sufficient documentation to allow evaluation.

We reserve the right to inspect and verify any reported issues before accepting a claim.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the supplied goods.

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of production
  • Loss of profit

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The latest version will be available upon request or on our website.
